The Merritt Centennials are excited to host a special Student & Literacy Night during tonight’s game against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats at Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM, and we’re looking forward to a night full of energy, community, and giving back!
For this event, we’re welcoming students from Nicola Canford Elementary and Bench Elementary with free admission, giving over 300 tickets to students from these schools. This initiative is part of our commitment to supporting the next generation of hockey fans and fostering a strong connection with our local schools.
In addition to Student Night, it’s also Literacy Night! We’re encouraging fans to bring a book (or a few!) to donate and help spread the joy of reading to those in need. Join us for some fun activities and show your support for literacy in our community.
If your school isn’t part of tonight’s event, don’t worry! We’ll be hosting similar student nights for other schools during our last three home games of the season. Stay tuned for updates!
