Jobie Siemens of the Merritt Centennials has committed to play for the Logan Lake Miners in the B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League next fall.
In 31 games for the Centennials this season, the Kamloops product had three assists. On Jan. 25 against the Chase Heat, who he began his junior career with, Siemens reached 100 career regular season games played in the KIJHL.
The 20-year-old ended up topping out at 106 games played with 16 points between the Cents (73 games) and the Heat (33 games).
Siemens joins a Miners program that finished third in the BCIHL at 8-10-0-2 and qualified for the playoffs, where they went 1-1.
